The art of camouflage is the ability to conceal from detection. Camouflage is used in nature by a variety of life forms. It is used as a defensive and offensive tactic. However, today we find camouflage is used not only in the art of concealment but also in the art of fashion. Many everyday items are now available in camouflage. From under garments to electronic devices it seems camouflage is everywhere. Because of the demand in the world outside of the realm of normality for camouflage, we are seeing the development of new and innovative forms of camouflage that actually work very well concealing. These camouflages have been developed for urban clientele but are finding the way into the more traditional uses for camouflage. We are seeing manufacturers of products that would never have produced a camouflage product 10 years ago, developing complete lines in camouflage. The demand for camouflage products seems to be on the rise and the most cost effective way to apply camouflage to solid items is with water transfer printing.
